Reporting Level:

This position will report to the Sr. Manager of the Messaging Infrastructure product team.

Shift Schedule:

This person will work in shifts.

On-call support including periodic after hours and weekend support responsibilities.

Responsibilities & Duties::

-Provide low level cross functional support as needed for the Clerity product team (re-hosted Mainframe).

-Provide administration support for various integration technologies, such as: IBM Infosphere Datastage, IBM MQ, IBM IIB, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and other legacy platforms (SeeBeyond, Oracle Retail RIB, EME, MLINK, XCOM, & Tuxedo).

Implement and administer new Integration servers and projects (both cloud and on prem), working with delivery teams to ensure success.

Establish close working relationships with the application development teams and understand their business and technical requirements.

Participate in architecture strategy discussions and contribute to cloud alternatives research.

Document and maintain policies & procedures, standards, & guidelines for Data Integration.

Manage the design and implementation of new Integration environments as required by portfolio projects.

Design and implement new common Enterprise Integration components and adaptors.

Support existing common components, business and infrastructure ESB services.

Support various phases of application development, testing and deployment activities.

Support three or more of the following:

Implement IBM Datastage upgrades, new deployments or configuration changes.

Implement IBM MQ upgrades, new deployments or configuration changes.

Implement IBM IIB upgrades, new deployments or configuration changes.

Implement Kafka upgrades, new deployments or configuration changes.

Implement RabbitMQ upgrades, new deployments or configuration changes.

Implement IBM IIB upgrades, new deployments or configuration changes.

Implement Custom ESB upgrades, new deployments or configuration changes.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from an accredited college, or equivalent experience.

6+ years overall information technology experience

6+ years of system administration and engineering experience within large batch integration infrastructures

Three or more of the following:

3+ years IBM Datastage administration support

3+ years IBM MQ administration support

3+ years Talend ETL administration support

3+ years IBM IIB administration support

3+ years Kafka administration support

3+ years RabbitMQ administration support

3+ years IBM MQ administration support

3+ years working within delivery projects and detailed understanding or project development lifecycles

Experience within operational support role and detailed understanding of support processes and considerations

Ability to operate in a 24 x 7 - periodic on-call rotation production environment

Conceptual knowledge of foundational messaging (MQ), file transfer, and database interaction technologies

Command-line experience working with UNIX/Linux

Full lifecycle software development experience

Excellent oral and written and communication skills

Should be able to work on multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Self motivated and able to work with only moderate supervision.

Experience managing performance against metrics and SLAs

Worked within global delivery model and collaborated with engineering teams worldwide
